Presentation 1 - slides to go with

Title

Presentation 1 - slides to go with

Subject

expert by experience, personal narrative, Andrew Voyce, asylum life, mental illness, side effects of medication, Margaret Thatcher

Description

A screen based slide show to accompany Presentation 1 - text. These slides should be transitioned when prompted by red text in the companion script for Presentation 1. The slides fit in with the presentation in text and can be viewed alongside by half-sizing the screen to have two windows open simultaneously. When the last slide with the text has been reached, there are a number of cartoon slides under the heading of 'Vignettes'. Lastly there are a number of question and answer slides. The text and slide show were delivered as a presentation in November 2012 by Andrew Voyce as an 'expert by experience'. Although this pair of items go together as a formal presentation, this my way of avoiding 'death by PowerPoint'. At no juncture are the slides read out to the audience. Slides complement the script and are not parts of the script being read out. It is my intention that the slides should enhance the script and lighten up the talk. Definitely not death by PowerPoint with the presenter reading out what the audience can perfectly well see on the screen.
