Title

The Wellcome Library's Archives and Manuscripts Collections: whose voice is telling the story of mental health?

Subject

Wellcome Library, archives, manuscripts, mental health, voice, representation, power, control

Description

This table represents my initial research into representations of mental health in the Wellcome Library's archives and manuscripts collections where there is a bias towards the voice of the professional over and above the voice of the individual with lived experience. My role as an active archivist is to highlight the gap within the Wellcome's representations and try to contribute to filling that gap.
