Humour and Pain
What power does anything have if you laugh at it? “I have always tended to crack jokes even when I’ve been extremely depressed. The topic of my first book is hugely painful. It is really hard to read, but the humour made it accessible. I think humour connects all human beings. Humour means you understand. When you poke fun at something, unique ideas about it really open up for people. You are connecting human being to human being.
I think the minute I stop laughing at myself and the world is the minute my soul dies.
